We spend all friday in an industrial wind tunnel and giant deep freeze today strapped in our parajet harnesses being blasted by 75mph winds in temps as low as -65! I am bushed and wiped out and lost feeling in my fingers and toes for about an hour afterwards (bad memories etc!) I have also got some frostbite in my cheek which so annoying ...and stupid of me to let happen. Anyway, we have found the weak points in our kit and made the necessary changes (3 balaclavas under our helmets rather than 2...etc!)
Then on saturday we flew the Everest machine at last! After 12 months of design and manufacturing this amazing contraption is now capable of flying to the summit of Everest and back ...God willing....

Finally, we had a wonderful Easter Sunday at home with my family...messing about in our canoe on the river, eating loads of chocolateand making pretend hot air balloons out of boxes! Heaven.
